Intercompany Analyst

Join a global finance environment where accuracy, collaboration, and continuous improvement drive real business impact. As an Intercompany Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of financial transactions across multiple NOV entities.
In this position, you will be responsible for managing intercompany activities across a selection of NOV ledgers. You will collaborate daily with colleagues across regions to process invoices, manage intercompany payments, and support reporting activities related to intercompany balances and aging. 
This role offers strong exposure to global finance operations and SOX-compliant processes, making it an excellent opportunity to build expertise in a complex, international setting.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage intercompany accounting entries across assigned ledgers, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines
  • Oversee intercompany close activities, resolving out-of-balance positions in a timely manner
  • Monitor and analyze intercompany transactions, including: purchase price variances and markups, goods in transit and unvouched receipts and expense allocations and recharges
  • Initiate and coordinate intercompany settlements and payments with global partners and Treasury
  • Support cash forecasting related to intercompany flows
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain sub-ledger aging in line with SOX controls
  • Contribute to quarterly financial reviews and audit processes (internal & external)
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and reporting efficiency
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and ensure adherence to internal control procedures

 

Qualifications & Skills
Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting or finance
  • Understanding of financial processes and controls
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good command of Excel and general MS Office skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Previous BlackLine and JDE experience
  • Exposure to intercompany accounting or general ledger processes
