THE ROLE

We are currently looking for a Global EHS System Manager join our growing team in Poland, Wrocław. In this role you will support the design and implementation phases of these programs and ensure their effective execution, reporting to Global EHS Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Design, development, and implementation of EHS elements of the IONWAY Management System (IMS) and associated programs/projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the EHS components of the IONWAY Management System (IMS) and associated programs/projects.
  • Lead HQ-level IMS implementation, maintain HQ level requirements and support site-level deployments with the site EHS team.
  • Drive/conduct compliance assessments and communicate findings and solutions (second layer of defense).
  • Develop EHS KPIs in line with the company objectives and sites’ needs.
  • Oversee incident investigations.
  • The examples of the deliverables and daily tasks are following (but not limited to):
  • Develop and prepare the procedures and projects, and their supporting components,
  • Deliver and support the implementation of EHS Compliance procedures at sites.
  • Deliver and lead the Incident management procedure requirements (HQ-level), support the site for site-level requirements.
  • HQ-level CAPA management,
  • Analyz trends and suggest the improvement,
  • Prepare and submit reports,
  • Examples of the EHS programs and projects (EHS e-learning implementation (Digitalization Program), EHS Software implementations, etc.).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Health & Safety, or related Engineering or Science fields (Chemistry, Mechanics, Electronics, etc.).
  • International EHS certifications (Nebosh, IOSH, etc.), and willing to develop/grow themselves continusly.
  • Extensive project/program management experience with a proven track record of successful project delivery (certification is a plus).
  • Experience in building and maintaining management systems (ISO, FM/UL, credit organizations, etc.).
  • At least 10 years (preferably 13-15 years) of relevant EHS experience in reputable companies, with a preference for those in heavy industry.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder engagement, communication and using digital tools and EHS leadership.
  • Proficiency in English (C1/C2) and Polish (B2/C1).
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (up to 30%).
