Accountant

Our client is an international company operating in the iGaming industry, delivering innovative digital entertainment products to hundreds of thousands of users.

The team consists of 400+ professionals across multiple business functions, including Technology, Product, Operations, Finance, Compliance, Marketing, and Customer Experience. They combine the agility of a fast-growing business with the structure and standards of a regulated international organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate accounting records and financial documentation.

  • Process and record financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and bank operations.

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Reconcile bank accounts and balance sheet accounts.

  • Ensure compliance with local accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

  • Support tax reporting and statutory filings.

  • Ensure compliance with the Polish Accounting Act and local tax regulations.

  • Manage accounting and reporting related to gaming tax obligations and regulatory requirements.

  • Support accounting processes related to licenses, regulatory fees, and financial guarantees.

  • Manage and process documentation through the National e-Invoicing System (KSeF).

  • Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external auditors when required.

  • Support the continuous improvement of accounting processes and controls.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or financial operations.

  • Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance requirements.

  • Knowledge of the National e-Invoicing System (KSeF).

  • Understanding of the Gambling Act and gaming tax accounting principles.

  • Experience in accounting related to licenses, regulatory fees, and financial guarantees.

  • Experience collaborating with Group Finance teams and supporting consolidated reporting processes.

  • Previous experience within the iGaming industry will be considered an advantage.

  • Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is considered an advantage.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software/ERP systems.

  • Good communication skills in both written and spoken English.
